Delayed Again: 007: First Light Switch 2 Version Postponed Once More

IT Home, August 31. Publisher H2 INTERACTIVE announced today that the Switch 2 version of 007: First Light, originally slated for release in late summer this year, has been delayed again, with a specific date to be determined.

It is reported that 007: First Light is globally published by IO Interactive, while H2 INTERACTIVE handles the distribution of physical copies in the Asian region.

IO Interactive CEO Hakan Abrak stated in an interview this May that the Switch 2 version of 007: First Light is already running, but the team needs some more time to polish it to reach an ideal state.

According to IT Home's understanding, 007: First Light was released on May 27, launching on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC platforms.

In terms of plot, the title reimagines the origin story of James Bond. IO Interactive has called the project its "most ambitious" to date. The game aims to create an "unforgettable James Bond experience," featuring global location transitions, in-depth espionage, the use of high-tech gadgets, and thrilling car chases.
