NetEase Cloud Music Responds to HarmonyOS App Early Access Launch, Says More Features to Be Refined

IT Home, August 31 — NetEase Cloud Music's HarmonyOS app was launched today on Huawei's AppGallery app store, opening for early access download. The version number is 9.5.80, with a size of 137.0MB, and the developer is Hangzhou Ledu Technology Co., Ltd.

NetEase Cloud Music officially responded today to the early access launch of the HarmonyOS app:

First, we must say: sorry to keep you waiting! And now, straight to the point: the NetEase Cloud Music HarmonyOS early access beta is now available on mobile!

You can search for "NetEase Cloud Music" in Huawei's AppGallery under "Me - App Early Access" to download and experience it (requires updating to the latest version of the HarmonyOS system).

The HarmonyOS app was jointly developed through deep cooperation between both parties. The initial early access version focuses on core music listening features such as playback, recommendations, search, and sharing. More features remain to be refined.

At the same time, we are officially launching the "NetEase Cloud Music HarmonyOS Product Experience Improvement Plan." You can leave a message directly in the comments section to report issues encountered in this version or suggest features you would like to see prioritized in subsequent versions. We will optimize and upgrade it as soon as possible to bring you a better experience.

According to IT Home's earlier report today, the top bar of the NetEase Cloud Music HarmonyOS app currently features seven tabs: the hamburger menu, Heartbeat Mode, Recommendations, Music, Podcasts, Audiobooks, and Song Recognition. Compared to the Android version, it lacks Midnight Flight and AI Songwriting. The bottom bar features three buttons: Home, Search, and Me.

The search button, originally located at the top of the Android version, has been moved to the bottom.

As for the playback interface, the HarmonyOS version of NetEase Cloud Music offers sound quality selection, favorites, download, and share options. It is worth noting that Heartbeat Mode needs to be activated by swiping left on the home page.
