Dreame Sues Xiaohongshu in Reputation Rights Dispute

IT Home, August 30 — Court hearing information shows that Dreame Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. has sued Xingyin Information Technology (Shanghai) Co.

, Ltd. (IT Home note: the core domestic operating entity of Xiaohongshu) over a reputation rights dispute. The case is scheduled to go to trial on September 8 at the Shanghai Huangpu District People's Court.

In late April 2026, Dreame Technology founder and CEO Yu Hao published multiple Weibo posts, publicly criticizing Xiaohongshu as a "very, very bad platform." He described its values and profit model as "toxic" and questioned whether its algorithm intentionally recommends malicious content and fake news.
