HIMA Maextro S800 Grand Design Official Deliveries Begin Today, Starting at 1.388 Million Yuan
August 31, IT Home reported. Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA) announced today that official deliveries of the Maextro S800 Grand Design have begun on August 31.
According to previous reports from IT Home, the Maextro S800 Grand Design was officially released on June 25. It is available in both extended-range and pure electric versions, with an official starting guide price of 1.388 million yuan.
Positioned in the ultra-luxury sedan market, the vehicle measures 5480mm in length, 2000mm in width, and 1536/1542mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3370mm. It features an independent four-seat layout inside.
In terms of exterior, the Maextro S800 Grand Design integrates the design philosophy of "harmony between heaven, earth, and humanity" with Oriental aesthetics. It offers three exterior colors: "Distant Mountain Cyan," "Rising Sun Gold," and "Golden Radiance Black Ink." It is equipped with matching long-pile wool carpets and exclusive Grand Design badging.
For the interior, the Maextro S800 Grand Design utilizes 18 real wood trim panels crafted with marquetry techniques. It takes over 10 processes to achieve meticulous detailing and over 20 processes for hand-woven elements.
Regarding intelligent driving, the new car is designed with an L3+ advanced autonomous driving architecture, equipped with Huawei's Qiankun Intelligent Driving ADS 5 and the All-around Anti-Collision System CAS 5.0.
The vehicle debuts a higher-level autonomous driving computing redundancy architecture, adopting a full-link redundancy design with dual sensor sets, dual connectors, dual SoCs, and dual power supplies. It also premieres a mass-produced LiDAR washing and wiping integrated system, capable of intelligently detecting dirt and self-cleaning.
The pure electric version is equipped with a 120.043kWh battery pack, offering a CLTC pure electric range of 780km. The extended-range version features a 65kWh battery pack, providing a comprehensive range of 1200km and a pure electric range of 365km.
The body adopts the Xuanwu body architecture, with ultra-high-strength steel and aluminum alloy accounting for 92% of its content.
For the chassis, the new car is exclusively customized based on the new generation Tuling Longxing platform MAEXTRO, debuting the All-Domain Fusion Architecture 2.0. It is equipped with Huawei's fully self-developed 800V high-voltage fully active suspension, featuring dual-valve continuous variable damping shock absorbers that support a damping adjustment range from 1000N to 10000N.
The suspension system also includes air springs and a fully aluminum alloy chassis (front double-wishbone and rear five-link structure); the rear-wheel steering angle reaches ±12°, with a minimum turning radius of 5.05 meters.
