IT Home, August 31 — NetEase Cloud Music version 9.5.80 is now available for early access on the HarmonyOS AppGallery. The app is 137.0MB in size and is developed by Hangzhou Ledu Technology Co., Ltd.

Following a brief hands-on experience with the HarmonyOS version, IT Home found that the app can meet basic needs such as listening to music and browsing recommended playlists.

Regarding the UI, the app's current top bar features seven sections: hamburger menu, Heartbeat Mode, Recommendations, Music, Podcasts, Audiobooks, and Song Recognition. Compared to the Android version, it lacks Midnight Flight and AI Songwriting. The bottom bar includes three buttons: Home, Search, and My.

Notably, the search button, previously located at the top in the Android version, has been moved to the bottom.

In terms of the playback interface, the HarmonyOS version of NetEase Cloud Music offers sound quality selection, favorites, downloads, and sharing. It is worth noting that Heartbeat Mode needs to be activated by swiping left on the home page.

Additionally, the HarmonyOS version currently lacks features such as a sleep timer, playback speed control, driving mode, focus mode, and ringtone settings. Furthermore, the app's hamburger menu is very streamlined, missing functions like personalization and the mall found in the Android version.
