OPPO ColorOS 17 Adopts Global Floating Island Navigation, Covering Nearly All Built-in Apps

August 31, IT Home News: OPPO ColorOS Design Director Chen Xi previously announced that ColorOS 17 will be unveiled next month.

IT Home noted that Chen Xi revealed more details about the new system today. According to him, ColorOS 17's new floating island navigation design runs throughout the entire system, covering almost all built-in apps, making the visual experience across all scenarios lighter and purer.

In addition, OPPO has further optimized the global rounded corners, allowing interface elements to present a consistent, warm, and natural look.

Chen Xi stated that inheriting the fluid motion blending effects from the previous version 16, ColorOS integrates this feature throughout the entire system. Whether it is the lock screen island, notification side-swipes, app searches, or the floating island navigation, it brings a seamless visual comfort.

ColorOS 17 is equipped with a brand-new flexible feedback system, where global elements naturally stretch, compress under force, and dynamically bounce back with operations, making every interaction responsive to the user's intent and more full of vitality.
